Episode 19: What’s On – Wild Rose Festival & Joe Mooney Summer School

Another weekend brings another look through “What’s On” around the county. It’s a busy week ahead with the return of the International Wild Rose Festival in Manorhamilton alongside the ever popular Joe Mooney Summer School in Drumshanbo which will see both towns taken over by locals and tourists alike.

Treasa Nealon talks about “Touch & Go” from Beezneez Theatre Company International Wild Rose Festival, “The Gaelic Fields” an exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Glencar Manorhamilton GAA Club.

Justin Farrell of Carrick Cineplex joins Breifne to discuss “The Lion King” which hits cinemas this evening and he details what other movies are available for film buffs over the next 7 days.

Breifne also talks to Marie McGowan from 24/7 Family Carers about their pop up shop in the Sculpture Centre in Manorhamilton from Wednesday to Sunday next week to coincide with the Wild Rose Festival.
