Terry Hyland – Leitrim GAA – Sports Preview: Episode 191

A return to action for local GAA clubs in the Special Football League for all adult teams without their inter county players as the county side travel to Louth for a crunch Division 3 league game.

We speak to Manager Terry Hyland about his thoughts on the season so far, the game on Sunday, dealing with massive swings in supporter expectations, making the hard calls on team selection, a growing injury and suspension list and much more.

Other national league action locally sees Leitrim Hurlers host Lancashire on Sunday, Pairc Sean MacDiarmada at 12:30 while Longford Town travel to Drogheda this evening (7:45pm) and Sligo Rovers host Waterford tomorrow evening (7:45pm) while Sligo Rugby travel to Corinthians on Saturday (2:00pm) in their promotion hunt.

We take a look at the return of adult club GAA action with the Special League fixtures starting tomorrow afternoon.

Leitrim Sports Partnership will be hosting an information session on the Club Development Grants scheme for help Leitrim clubs grow and professional their structures. Awards between €200 & €600 will be available based on the submissions from each club.
