We’ll be dabbling in the Art’s for the first half of the show chatting to Jane Gilheaney Barry about her new book ‘That Curious Love of Green’, the diary of her life while she wrote her initial novel Cailleach-Witch while for the second half, we’re getting into the flow of the River Shannon.

Breifne is talking to the three ladies of Flo Beo, Eileen Maxwell, Heather Maxwell and Toni McGlynn after 6 days they have achieved their target of hitting Rooskey despite the weather’s best efforts to slow them down or bring them to a complete standstill.

They explain how the amazing support along the river has helped carry them on a crest of a wave to the border of County Longford on schedule despite the setbacks.
