We’re also talking about Paddy’s participation along with other councillors at the recent Beef Protest at Leinster House and how it appears to be collateral damage as part of the benefits in other parts of Irish life.
The traffic situation and the frustration of business owners in Carrick on Shannon based on the road works which have been ongoing in recent weeks along the N4 in between the bridge and the Dublin Road.
We’re also talking insurance and the claims culture which has developed in the country and has forced the closure of numerous activity based businesses and locally events like the Jamestown Show have been forced to close their doors because of the rising cost of insurance.
